As Chief Marketing Officer for BIRNS, Amy Brown is is responsible for overseeing all marketing operations of the company and continually developing and maintaining its marketing strategy and vision. In her role, she defines and manages a comprehensive set of strategic, global marketing programs and spearheads BIRNS’ brand message to resonate with the company’s target demographics. Brown is responsible for leading all market share strategies, generating print, online and social media coverage, managing the advertising program, and positioning the company in its key industries.
Prior to heading the marketing department at BIRNS, she served for five years as Director of Public Relations for Bear Enthusiast Marketing Group, a Los Angeles-based marketing and advertising firm. Other senior leadership roles Brown has held in Marketing Communications include Vice President of Corporate Communications for DataRemote, Inc., and Senior Editor/Public Relations Manager for Drizen-Dohs Corporate Communications. During her long and successful career, Brown has been responsible for managing the marketing efforts for global brands like Suzuki, Speedo, Teleflex Marine, WellPoint, Intellian and OceanLED. Brown is a member of the Women’s Outdoor Media Association (WOMA) and holds a BA in Journalism.
