BIRNS, Inc. high power motor cable assembly used to supply power for the hot water drill in the Ice Cube Neutrino Detector, a neutrino telescope at the South Pole. The project deployed spherical optical sensors at depths between 1,450 and 2,450 meters into holes melted in the ice.
