Daniel Karnwie-Tuah is responsible for Quality Management of all the company’s design, manufacturing and supply operations and the oversight and management of our ISO 9001-certified and 10CFR50 App. B-compliant Quality Management System. He partners with BIRNS’ Manufacturing and Engineering leadership to enhance business processes to further increase stability and predictability across all departments. He drives continuous improvements in safety, operational performance, and employee development, per our corporate business plan, and ensures processes are established to ensure all products are manufactured in a controlled and cost-effective manner, delivering zero-defect products on-time to our customers for total customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining the team, he held a range of key Quality Management leadership roles in electro-mechanical manufacturing, medical device and aerospace industries. He is an AS9100 Lead Auditor and a Six Sigma Black Belt, and has deep expertise in quality system development, ISO 9001:2015 certification, organizational training, risk management, supplier management, strategic analysis and planning, lean manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
Karnwie-Tuah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
